the children's museum

We recently found out that the Indianapolis Children's Museum is free to all guests on the first Thursday of every month between 4-8. We put TODAY on our calendar several weeks ago and made sure that nothing got in our way of taking Sammi after work!

We saw the dinosaur exhibit...

Explored the dinosaur bones and made "rahr!" sounds...

We dug up dinosaur bones!

Or, at least thought about it...

We crawled into caves...

Or, at least thought about it....

We touched a real dinosaur bone!

We saw fish and made fish mouths!

We waited for the elevator because mommy didn't want to do the 334 steps again!

We ran through the fun mirror maze!

Gave Sammi a little kiss...oh wait! That's me! I'm everywhere!

Ran through the mirror streamers...

Watched the carousel go around...so interesting! Maybe next time we'll try riding!

We went to "Playscape" for toddlers and played in the water...

Colored and rubbed over patterns to make pictures...

Pulled over a chair to sit while coloring...

And even took home some pretty pictures at the end of the night!
We had such a good time tonight and will definitely do it again! Sammi is growing up so fast and I am continually amazed at how fast she learns and matures. I feel so grateful to have such a wonderful, happy, loving, curious, adorable kiddo! I love you, Sam!!!!
