We went to Fort Wayne to photograph a wedding Saturday and were excited to stay with Dan's parents for the entire weekend. We've been wanting to take Samantha to the Fort Wayne Zoo, where Dan has many memories growing up, and thought Sunday morning would be the perfect time! We were thrilled when Dan's sister Jenny and her two kids and Dan's parents agreed to join us! We had a great day!

Our first stop was a lion drinking fountain which Dan remembered well from his childhood and really wanted a photo of Sami sticking her head in the lion!
She was very hesitant at first...
but at least agreed to pet him!
Watching the monkeys...the same kind of monkeys as Chi Chi, a monkey that got out of his cage and jumped on Dan's leg and bit him after Dan was taunting him as a child, many years ago!
Brad and Sam are best buds, and took a "car ride" together.

What an awesome day! Jenny & boys, thanks for joining us for the zoo! Orlie and Kathe, thanks so much for having us all weekend, taking care of Sam, cooking for us, and taking us to the zoo!
